Meet our team
Simi Chugani
Principal
Chugani & Co. was founded by Simi Chugani, a legally trained strategist and senior executive with extensive experience working across governance, strategy, policy, social impact and organisational development.
Simi holds a Bachelor of Laws and has been admitted to the Roll of Practitioners of the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Her legal training informs a strong analytical approach to governance, policy and organisational decision-making, while her professional experience has largely been built outside traditional legal practice.
She has worked across government, the not-for-profit sector and Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, including senior leadership roles focused on sector development, organisational strategy, governance and systemic reform.
Her work has involved establishing and strengthening organisations, developing governance and strategic frameworks, designing sector-wide initiatives, facilitating complex stakeholder processes and translating policy and evidence into practical approaches that organisations can actually implement.
